Memorial Garden – Important Notice
Our Memorial Garden is a place for fans and their families to take time to reflect and remember a loved one. The quiet and peaceful garden is located to the right of the Colin Bell Stand and is accessible to all, free of charge.
Families are welcome to hold their own services or we can arrange for the Club Chaplain to attend and hold a short private service, subject to his availability. If you would like to scatter ashes, we have designated flowerbeds on the left and right hand side of the garden. Floral tributes can also be displayed in this area.
In addition, we have Remembrance Books that are located at reception in the Colin Bell Stand which visitors are welcome to sign with their messages of condolence.
To assist us in maintaining the appearance and feel of the Memorial Garden we kindly ask that only temporary memorials (flowers, cards, scarfs) are left. We will leave these in place for seven days at which point they will be removed.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate permanent memorial plaques due to the limited space in the garden and we are unable to accept responsibility for items damaged or stolen.
We endeavour to not only enhance the privacy for our visitors, especially during what is a difficult and emotional time, but also reduce unnecessary stress.
Therefore if you would like to arrange a suitable time for the scattering of ashes, hold a short service and request the Club Chaplain to attend, please contact City@Home reception 0161 438 7601, where the staff will be happy to explain all the details with you. Alternatively please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
