Greg made his first-team bow on January 24, 2010 at Scunthorpe during an FA Cup fourth-round tie and made an instant impression with a booking after his first tackle!
The highly-rated left-back joined the Blues from Irish side Mervue United in 2007 and was a key player in the Under-18s and EDS team before being promoted to the senor squad during the 2009/10 campaign.
After representing Ireland at Under-17 and Under-19 level, he won his first full cap in May 2010 against Brazil and is now a regular fixture for the the national team, and by the end of 2010 he'd won three full caps.
In order to gain more experience, the young defender was loaned to Championship side Leicester City in October 2010 but fractured a tibia against Hull on New Year's Day, an injury that sidelined him for the final for four months of the season.
Thankfully Greg made a complete recovery and the following season he returned to the east Midlands in another loan deal, this time with Nottingham Forest.
Greg has a bright future and is carrying on a family tradition by becoming a footballer - his grandfather, Matthew Lee, played for Kilmarnock and Ireland.
